Just thought I'd take the time to update the news section.
So, to start off, I'm sure you've all taken note of the new layout. I'm quite happy with the colors and the overall look of everything. It was about time for a change, refreshing isn't it? Not only that, we still have our beloved Vincent! I'd say that there's no loss in this deal.
Akki of course is the one who made and put up this layout for us, and on behalf of Arashi-Umi, I would like to thank Akki for offering up her time to do this for the site. It is very much appreciated.
I've also noticed we have a new page up for the game / anime Wakfu, of which I'd also like to extend a thank you to the updater of that page. Currently, Wakfu, an MMORPG is in the stages of it's making and heading towards a public beta-testing stage. Wakfu is currently hiring and you can check that out here - http://jobs.ankama.com/?lang=en&id=3 or here -http://game.wakfu.com/en/ . Just thought I'd let all you budding game designers and programmers and advertisers and so on know. Now if only I could apply...
Moving on, the site, as always, needs more page updating. We are slowly moving closer to that goal. If anyone wishes to apply to help out, feel free to email me. I'd also like it if the current edited pages, plus the future ones:
-have pictures and a background (plain colours are fine)
-AND write ups, but not copied ones
-a link to this home page
-a title (obvious)
-a tag which states the maker of the page
-a tag which states, for the ease of readers, whether the
page is for an anime, game, manga, etc
-a tag which states the genre of the anime, game, manga,
etc which the page is representing
-external links about, or having cool stuff on that which the
page is about
-references for any pictures or other such material that
needs referencing
Seems like a lot of stuff? Not really. Those are just basics, a few easy to do / look-up things (aside from say, write-ups), and mostly take an extra minute or so to put up. Quality, not quantity, kay?
Another idea recently came to me. Anime Evolution is the anime convention held around here, and the group at Arash-Umi is intending to set up a table and sell art and other miscellanious items. I was thinking, maybe (webmasters?) we could include a page for our endeavors, and show some of the stuff we are to sell. It could be a page for our buisness... Just a possibility, I'd like to hear thoughts on that. For art work sales.. maybe link back to the images on deviantart, or have thumnails here? Or do both... anyway...

All right, well, I feel a very quick update is in need. It's been a while since I last posted. First off, I'd like to thank Sakura, of whom we are ever grateful for, for changing the links on each of the subpages. The homepage links now come back to this page instead of going to the old site. However, on this note, I'd like to give a reminder to anyone else... If a new page is to be added, the homepage links will need to be changed to redirect to this site.
Also... we are in dire need of a new layout, heh. So maybe I'll get around to that.
But alas, I must be off now. Yah... a short post! Amazing for me, no?

So... there was a demand for a 'cosplay' page T_T. Well, just for all you wonderful people, I've finally got around to adding that page. I'm expecting you'll fill it up? -_- Don't want my efforts to go to waste now, do we? XD Also, any cosplay pictures on our photo page will need to be moved to the new cosplay page. I'm thinking... maybe Sakura'll do that? Other news.. I got rid of two of our webmasters, both of which were supposed to be our fanfic writers. I'm thinking of maybe taking the writing page down? There isn't anything on it, and I don't see eager hands wanting to put anything up there. And... We need more of our anime info pages to be done!! Information and all, not just pictures (even though that is better than nothing).
So, as always, here's a list of things that need to be done (yes! it's getting smaller!!):

Ah, hello again. I'd like to thank Sakura for switching the photos to their correct page. ^-^ I doubt it would have gotten done otherwise. I have yet to introduce our new webmaster. Look to the future for that. Again, I'd like to remind everyone that pages still need updating and we need fanfic writers to post here. Even if you're not a webmaster, and you'd like to help, please send anything you've got to me. Also, I'm looking for ACTIVE webmasters. If you'd like to help. Please email me.
On another note. I'd like to tell you all that the art page has been updated, and now has a really neat drawing board feature. I'd recommend, for those of you who like to draw, to try it out.

Last update certainly was a while ago. I like to introduce our newest webmaster - Train. I currently can't find a character icon of the right size for him, so... Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm also hoping to introduce another webmaster fairly soon. I'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully he'll take Ledah's icon. I mean it IS the only character left. Unless... well, Ryoga would do well as Rose. If you all know who it really is. But since he's inactive, I might take him off soon. Train would do well as Ein, but that still leaves our new webmaster with Ledah XD. Oh well.
So! Webmasters! We need more updated pages. As well as stuff for the writing pages. Also, please refer to my last entry for things that need doing. My birthday is coming up. Anyone wanna add something on here for me that day?? Lol, nah, really, don't worry about it (most likely they won't, lmao). That's all.

Nya!! Hello again. Well, I've added a photo page (finally), and I've uploaded a few pictures but... there's still a TON more *sighs*. I'd appreciate the help of our other webmasters... but not very many of us are active these days. The end of the semester is coming up, so I have a whole lot of work to catch up on, and of course studying, so I really shouldn't be editing now O.o but there's a lot that needs to be edited. Here's a list:

I think that about sums it up (for now). I was also hoping to get a forum up on here (in the future) somehow, but I really don't know how to do that, and how well it would work. Profile pages for each of the webmasters would be good too. Enough of random ideas for now though. I've added a link in the fan icon section to the side to an ARIA fanlisting. It's one of the best fanlistings I've seen so please take some time to check it out. Also, one of our webmasters birthdays is coming up, so I'll have to make a little something on the site for her ^_^. Guess that's all for now. I'm off to catch up on my school work!!

Ah!! Look who it is!! Griffy! Yes, I haven't wrote anything here for a while... O.o Yes, Well, maybe it's a tad late, but I'd like to say HAPPY NEW YEARS to all of you people out there. Yup, and we've added a page for writing, fanfics, anything of the sort, if anyone wants to submit anything, feel free to. Just send it to me at 'griffins_lair3@hotmail.com'. Yup, I'd like to thank Akki for setting up that page, it really is a lot of work... and I doubt that any of the rest of us could do what she does. I hope to get a photo page up soon. Nekoski is constantly sending in her photos (she has a lot of fun with that, haha) and so I believe we need one. I'd also like to welcome our newest webmaster, Ryoga (finally... someone for the Ein icon, haha). Yup, well... guess, I'm off for now. Well, hello again. It's already wednesday and the links still aren't finished off! They certainly have been worked on, though (a thanks goes out to all those who've worked on the links!). A few of Nekoski's pictures have been added to the randomness page. Thank you to Akki for uploading them. Apparently Nekoski couldn't upload them 'cuz the site editer isn't working... It's working on mine and Akki's computer though... ??? Well, hopefully the problem fixes itself soon.. (maybe the editing boxes hadn't loaded yet?) Well, if the site isn't working for some of you webmasters, just send me or Akki whatever you want uploaded, and we'll upload it for you. Hmm, oh, yah, and to all you webmasters- please leave comments here, I don't want to be the only one writing... but find a good avatar that represents you if you want to write here. Well, I hope I'm not boring anyone (although I probably am...) So I'd better go edit some more stuff! ...but one last Thank you goes out to all the visitors who have come and seen our website. Without you we wouldn't be able to keep uploading all our wonderful pictures, haha, seriously. Yah, well, thats all.

Yay, everything's done now except the links!! (yeesh, those are time consuming...) A few more letters to finish and then the new Arashi Umi will truly be finished. Yay!! I'm really tired though (12:54 am) so I'm off to bed. Sakura's gunna stay and work on the links a bit more. Well, Hopefully everything will be done later on today!! Oh, and A huge Thank you to Sakura for doing the art and randomness page, as well as putting up the fan icons in their temporary position at the side of this page. Welcome to the re-opening of Arashi Umi!!!! Well... we still have a long ways to go, so bear with us. But still... I'm just so proud of the site!! It looks so awesome! Ha ha, thank you so much Akki! :o !!! Currently setting up the new layout. (Bye bye, Mr. Valentine. ;_;) The colourful picture I used as a base for this layout is from Ouran Highschool Host Club. The layout didn't seem to take long at all. Which is good. Hm, there's quite a lot to say, but I don't feel like saying it. Yes, just read the shoutbox, hm?

I haven’t even wrote any new updates since last year. It deeply shames me to call myself a webmaster, so I will try my best to work on updating as much as possible. I’m on my classroom computer right at the moment trying to touch things up.
Finally the subpages actually all link back to the new Arashi-Umi *sigh*, but there still is much left to do. And lately I have grown very addicted to some new anime & video games that I also wish to add. Which means more work. Sorry, but now I must return to this prison of boredom called “school”.
